ClearFox® QuickONE+, QuickONE SBR and SBR process in comparison

The QuickONE+, QuickONE SBR and SBR process from ClearFox® are market leading solutions for biological wastewater treatment. Depending on the amount of wastewater and population equivalent, different processes are used. The ClearFox® QuickONE+ is designed for domestic wastewater treatment up to 1000 PE, the ClearFox® SBR system treats larger wastewater volumes.

ClearFox® QuickONE+ – the reliable, biological single-chamber wastewater treatment system

Quick wastewater treatment in just one chamber with additional sludge stabilisation- that’s what QuickONE+ stands for. The system is designed to treat wastewater volumes between one and 1000 PE. For this purpose, the system is used in different tank forms. A plastic tank is suitable for small wastewater volumes, such as those generated in the domestic sector. This is rotationally moulded, so it consists seamlessly of one piece. This makes it suitable for above ground and underground installation without any problems. For larger quantities of wastewater, as is the case in small municipalities, concrete tanks are suitable in which the QuickONE+ system can be conveniently installed. The treatment plant adapts to the amount of the produced wastewater. The larger the volume, the more tanks are used.

ClearFox® QuickONE SBR – the upgrade for existing tanks

To upgrade an existing tank, the ClearFox® team provides the proven SBR process. If the customer wants to build a tank himself in which the wastewater treatment takes place, the ClearFox® engineers adapt the SBR process to exactly this tank. This solution is often used on construction site projects where the wastewater treatment plant is also to treat the wastewater of the building that will later be occupied. The project managers find it easy to build their own tank, usually underground, which then serves as a permanent treatment plant.

ClearFox® SBR – the purification system for large wastewater volumes

The ClearFox® SBR process is suitable for larger wastewater volumes where there are fluctuations in the wastewater input. This is the case in schools, on construction sites or in hotels. In schools, there is virtually no wastewater in the evenings, at weekends and during holidays. On construction sites, too, the wastewater supply is limited to core working hours. In hotels, less wastewater is produced outside the holiday season than during peak tourist periods. For this reason, all ClearFox® SBR systems have an equalisation tank. This collects the wastewater and leads it into the treatment plant continuously.

How does the SBR process work?

The ClearFox® QuickONE+ also works with the SBR process, whereby the entire technology is installed in just one tank. The wastewater flows into the reactor. Air diffusers supply the microorganisms in the wastewater with oxygen at specific intervals. These degrade almost all the dissolved substances in the wastewater and produce secondary sludge, which settles on the bottom of the reactor. A clear water zone forms on top of this, which an air-lift pump conveys out of the plant. A sludge pump removes the secondary sludge so that the process can start again.

The ClearFox® QuickONE+ and SBR process are suitable for numerous applications in the municipal and domestic sector. The biological treatment is reliable and guarantees compliance with all required values for direct discharge.
