Since Russia attacked Ukraine, an unprecedented solidarity has formed, especially in Europe. Every day, hundreds of vans set off towards the Ukrainian border to supply the people there with essential items such as clothing, medicines or food. PPU Umwelttechnik GmbH also participated with a donation campaign.

PPU employees show great solidarity with Ukraine
For this aid project, PPU Umwelttechnik GmbH worked together with Schmetterling International GmbH & Co. KG. The travel company initially provided a van to transport the relief supplies via Poland to the border of Ukraine. However, this was too small, so Schmetterling loaded all the relief supplies into a coach. The willingness of the PPU and its staff to help was overwhelming. At short notice, numerous blankets, medicines, medical equipment such as plasters or bandages, durable food for babies and adults as well as clothes for small children were collected. The company itself also provided money, which it used to buy first-aid kits and other relief supplies.
The production hall of PPU Umwelttechnik GmbH was briefly transformed into a storage room for relief supplies. The goods piled up until a transporter picked up all the boxes and bags last Saturday. Since every PPU employee participated in the donation drive, the van filled up quickly. The cooperation with Schmetterling went smoothly, so we can recommend the company with a clear conscience.
