Vom 30. Mai bis 3. Juni präsentierte sich die PPU Umwelttechnik GmbH auf der IFAT 2022 in München. Ziel war es, bestehende Geschäftskontakte zu pflegen und neue Kunden zu gewinnen. Während der fünf-tägigen Ausstellung präsentierte das Bayreuther Unternehmen seine Produkte und Serviceleistungen und zog daraus ein positives Fazit.

Zahlreiche Gäste besuchten PPU auf der IFAT 2022

Die langen und detaillierten Vorbereitungen hatten sich gelohnt, als der Stand am Sonntag, dem Abend vor Messebeginn aufgebaut war. Tafeln informierten über das Kerngeschäft der PPU, Fernseher zeigten die Erfolge der vergangenen Jahre, Modelle demonstrierten die ausgeklügelten Techniken zur Abwasserbehandlung und Sitzgelegenheiten luden zum Verweilen ein. Während der erste Tag noch verhalten begann, steigerte sich die Besucherzahl am Dienstag rapide. Hunderte Kunden besuchten den PPU-Stand täglich – meist potenzielle Neukunden. Es fiel auf, dass viele Besucher gezielt den Stand anliefen, um mit dem Team vor Ort ins Gespräch zu kommen.

Die Besucher kamen aus aller Welt: Ein Großteil waren Europäer, aber auch Gäste aus Usbekistan, Arabien oder Südamerika besuchten den PPU-Stand. Fünf Experten standen ihnen zur Verfügung, für große Projekte und Kleinkläranlagen, sicher auf deutschsprachigem und internationalem Niveau. Aus diesem Grund kamen die Gäste mit eigenen, jedoch sehr unterschiedlichen Projekten auf das PPU-Team zu. Meist hatten sie sich bereits im Internet über die Angebote informiert oder einen ersten Eindruck über die sozialen Medien erhalten.

PPU präsentierte sich umfangreich auf der IFAT 2022

Das Team der PPU Umwelttechnik GmbH ging mit großen Erwartungen auf die IFAT 2022, welche durch den großen Besucherstrom, kombiniert mit spezifischen Anfragen übertroffen wurde. Messen und Ausstellungen sind eine der wichtigsten Kommunikationskanäle der PPU. Besonders die Modelle, die Broschüren und der persönliche Kontakt ließen das Interesse der Kunden an Lösungen zur Abwasserbehandlung der PPU Umwelttechnik GmbH wachsen.

Auf der IFAT 2022 stand nicht nur der Austausch mit bestehenden oder potenziellen neuen Kunden im Fokus, das PPU-Team besuchte auch Stände von Zulieferern, um bestehende Kontakte zu vertiefen oder Neue zu knüpfen. Mit Weitsicht denkt die PPU dabei an Großprojekte in Ägypten oder an zukünftige Lieferbeziehungen. Im Fokus standen dabei Pumpensysteme, Messtechniken und Verfahren zur Rohrreinigung.

PPU draws positive conclusions from IFAT 2022

From 30 May to 3 June, PPU presented itself at IFAT 2022 in Munich. The aim was to maintain existing business contacts and acquire new customers. During the five-day exhibition, the Bayreuth-based company presented its products and services and drew a positive conclusion.

Numerous guests visited PPU at IFAT 2022

The long and detailed preparations had paid off when the stand was set up on Sunday, the evening before the trade fair began. Boards provided information about PPU’s core business, televisions showed the successes of the past years, models demonstrated the sophisticated wastewater treatment techniques and seating invited visitors to linger. While the first day started cautiously, the number of visitors increased rapidly on Tuesday. Hundreds of customers visited the PPU stand every day – mostly potential new customers. It was noticeable that many visitors approached the stand specifically to talk to the team on site.

The visitors came from all over the world: the majority were Europeans, but guests from Uzbekistan, Arabia or South America also visited the PPU stand. Five experts were at their disposal, for large projects and small sewage treatment plants, certainly on a German-speaking and international level. For this reason, the guests approached the PPU team with their own, but very different projects. Mostly, they had already informed themselves about the offers on the internet or got a first impression via social media.

PPU presented itself extensively at IFAT 2022

The PPU team went to IFAT 2022 with great expectations, which were exceeded by the large number of visitors combined with specific enquiries. Trade fairs and exhibitions are one of PPU’s most important communication channels. Especially the models, the brochures and the personal contact made the customers’ interest in wastewater treatment solutions of PPU grow.

At IFAT 2022, the focus was not only on exchanges with existing or potential new customers, the PPU team also visited supplier stands to deepen existing contacts or make new ones. With foresight, the PPU is thinking about major projects in Egypt or future supplier relationships. The focus was on pump systems, measuring techniques and processes for pipe cleaning.
