PPU Umwelttechnik opened a modern CNC machining centre. The focus is on the automation of individual work steps. The CNC machining centre can mill large-area panels of different sizes with a maximum height of 250 millimetres. The Bayreuth-based company is thus taking the next step towards faster and more precise production.

PPU automates individual work steps
PPU Umwelttechnik produces individual sewage treatment plants in an automated manufacturing process. These are usually containerised wastewater treatment plants that can treat 30 or 50 m³ of wastewater per day. They are suitable for wastewater treatment in municipalities, refugee camps, military camps, or mining camps. There, mainly sanitary wastewater is produced, which after treatment is suitable for direct discharge into the environment.
The CNC machining centre therefore makes it possible to produce selected individual parts quickly, precisely and in larger quantities. In this way, PPU Umwelttechnik GmbH guarantees a consistently high quality of its products. The machines process wood, plastic, and metal in equal measure. Due to the precise production of the parts, the production of individual sample components is also possible.
The CNC machining centre is also available to outside companies
PPU Umwelttechnik GmbH offers its knowledge of CNC production to help other companies. These include carpenters, joiners, exhibition stand builders or advertising agencies. They have a great need for automated production, which the CNC machining centre can realise easily and quickly.
The sophisticated software makes it possible to digitally plan entire pieces of furniture such as beds, sloping roof installations or fitted kitchens. Additional notches for tenons, dowels or mitres are no challenge. This makes it easy to assemble even larger pieces of furniture or to set up pre-produced exhibition stands.
