The Brazil water shortage affects urban areas in particular. The economic growth there is also increasing the demand for water for industry and households. This results in a steadily growing demand for wastewater treatment solutions on the Brazilian market. For this reason, PPU Umwelttechnik GmbH is participating in a digital event from 29 November to 3 December 2021, which will present the Brazilian market. This will give German companies the opportunity to combat the Brazil water shortage.

The Brazilian market is open for reliable wastewater treatment solutions
Brazil is the largest market in Latin America. In 2020, the population increased to over 212 million people, who are increasingly congregating in urban centres. As a result, the Brazil water shortage is also growing, both for companies and private households. To get to know the Brazilian market even better, the German-Brazilian Chamber of Foreign Trade organised a digital insight into the Brazilian water industry in cooperation with the German Water Partnership and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. The aim is to open up the Brazilian market to small and medium-sized wastewater treatment companies from Germany.
ClearFox® systems against Brazil water shortage
PPU Umwelttechnik GmbH specialises in the development of industrial and decentralised wastewater treatment systems. With the mobile and modular ClearFox® containerised wastewater treatment plants, wastewater can be treated at a wide variety of locations. The low investment and operating costs make a ClearFox® wastewater treatment plant the ideal solution for purifying wastewater. PPU Umwelttechnik GmbH has already used its wastewater treatment plants in a wide variety of industries. Wastewater treatment in Brazil is no challenge for the company.
In recent years, PPU Umwelttechnik GmbH has gained a great deal of experience in the food and beverage industry. Two solutions stand out in particular: the ClearFox® DAF (dissolved air flotation) and the ClearFox® SBR system. In the ClearFox® DAF, flocculation aids bind all suspended solids in the wastewater. An aeration system carries the resulting sludge to the outside. The ClearFox® SBR system treats the wastewater biologically. The system promotes the growth of the microorganisms that treat the wastewater.
For the Brazilian government, the efficiency of industrial water use is particularly crucial. In the coming years, the country aims to increase the reuse of the resulting wastewater. As German companies are known in Brazil for their high-quality and reliable work, PPU Umwelttechnik GmbH also sees a great opportunity to gain a foothold in the Brazilian market and thus combat the Brazil water shortage.
